The 'I' Word - Inflation
Let's talk about what's going on right now: We have a $2 trillion stimulus program in the U.S. and an unlimited quantitative easing program…

What all this equals is an increase in the money supply -- the end goal is to get people to start spending money again to help boost the economy.

While we don't have to worry about a supply problem like we did during the 2008 financial crisis, what we do have is a demand issue… People have the money, they just don't want to spend it.

So governments and central banks are essentially shoving more money into the pockets of consumers and businesses to keep the economy from stalling out.

Our concern is that there will be too much money sloshing around in the system, ultimately leading to inflation…

If you don't think that's a big deal, I urge you to watch the video...

What to Look for in First
 Trading Day After Easter
Roger Scott and Lance Ippolito joined James West to interpret market reaction on the first trading day back from Easter holiday after last week's record rally in U.S. equities.

The large uptrend stemmed from the leveling off in the rate of virus infections, the massive Fed stimulus being injected into the economy, and the historic resolution to cut oil output made between Saudi Arabia, Russia, and the United States.

The trio analyze why U.S. stocks headed lower to start the week and what to look for as earnings season gets under way.
