U.S. stocks opened lower this morning as investors had to digest worse-than-expected jobless claims data.

Investors have retreated, concerned that even if governments don’t take the necessary steps to reimpose previous restrictions to reduce more outbreaks, people and businesses could still revert back to limited spending.
