Stocks are mostly higher today as earnings season kicks off for large-cap financial companies. It's also a busy week for economic data. Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell, will be speaking twice this week. The Retail Sales and Consumer Sentiment reports are scheduled for Friday and should give us a good idea of what to expect from earnings.
The larger stocks in the S&P 500 continue to push the index higher. Both the S&P 500 and the Nasdaq are near all-time highs. Keep an eye on the bond market and how it may react to any interest-rate news this week. We could soon see large caps cool off and small and mid caps heat up. Today, I've identified two low-risk opportunities in small caps that have already seen a pullback. In other words, they have some extra room to run.
In today's video, you'll discover whether large caps have more upside momentum left… whether the bond market is going to rise or fall… why the fair value of large caps is distorted… the biggest Fed reports coming this week… how earnings will impact the tech sector… and two hot small-cap stock picks.
