Washington is threatening you

Janet Yellen, the Treasury Secretary, went on CNBC to warn people that a recession is coming if Republicans don't agree to raise the debt ceiling.

That kind of tactic grosses me out.

That is the elite playing a scare tactic on everyday Americans just to try and force other elites into action.

If there actually is a recession, who do you think will be affected? Janet Yellen?

Mitch McConnell or Joe Biden?

No, it'll be everyday folks like you working hard to get by, maybe with money saved up in the stock market to pay for retirement.

To make matters worse, these politicians only want the debt ceiling raised so they can spend more money, which will inflate the currency anyway and probably spark a recession that way.

They don't have your best interest at heart. Everyone in Washington is playing a political game.

The only problem is, they're wagering your money.

This is why I think it is such an important time to take control of your own financial health and stop relying on Washington to get it right.

I don't care about Republicans vs. Democrats, conservatives vs. liberals, or anything else.

I care about everyday people not getting run over by the elite who could care less about their livelihoods.
