U.S. stock futures are up Wednesday morning following Tuesday’s sell-off — and more in Wednesday’s stock market recap.
Tech stocks caused Wall Street to sink Tuesday as the Nasdaq posted its largest single-session loss since September 2020, falling nearly 4%. The Dow dropped 809 points, or 2.4%, while the S&P 500 fell 2.8%.
The markets are volatile right now due to a combination of geopolitical events, earnings and of course the Federal Reserve.
Microsoft beat earnings after the bell Wednesday, jumping more than 4% in premarket trading, while Alphabet dropped 3.5% on a weak earnings report.
Meta and Ford, among others, report earnings after the closing bell on Wednesday.
In this morning’s stock market recap video, you’ll learn which stocks to pay attention to… what market internals are pointing to… which Fed data is important this week and why… a full update on the bond market… a preview of key levels on the S&P 500 and Nasdaq… plus I’ll show you my best long trade right now, and offer a low-risk, high-reward short setup.
