I’ve had a really busy weekend, with my daughter getting married on Saturday! It was a great day for our family. But I have a few quick thoughts I want to rattle off for you as we start a short trading week.
Momentum is Yellow... Now What?
Market momentum is now yellow. We saw an acceleration in buying Thursday on S&P 500 stocks in retail, technology, and communications.
However, across the broad market of 8,500 stocks trading publicly, momentum is still negative.
Was Thursday's rally real? Is a Bull or Bear market coming next?

I think if you’ve stuck with me for a while, you know how much I value our men and women in uniform.
That goes double for anyone who has made the ultimate sacrifice. We can never thank them and the survivors in their family enough.
With that said, the trading week is starting again, and we’re in for a short week with some earnings calls.
Here’s a look at what’s coming up
Not a whole lot of heavy hitters, but Gamestop always sparks some conversation.
This week, it will be interesting to see if we continue to climb. I called a bottom on SPX around 3900, and it certainly seems like that prediction was right on the money so far. But anything can happen.

Reminds me of the way people are talking about cryptocurrency right now.
The next time we have a major breakthrough innovation like the internet, a lot of folks will look backward and think, “how did I miss that?”
If it’s crypto, right now, folks are jumping ship left and right.
