Senior Strategist Roger Scott just went live to reveal his No. 1 Frontrunner Stock for the rest of 2022…
Not only that, but he also discussed the core factors behind what he calls “Frontrunner Stocks,” how to build your own custom ETF, portfolio management and more.
He even went into great detail on the formula used to backtest the Frontrunner Portfolio, and shared the results!
This past week’s positive inflation reports have given investors hope that inflation is peaking. But Friday saw the release of one more report that could also prove to be a catalyst for the major indexes: import and export prices.
Import prices came in at 8.8% year over year, below both consensus estimates of 9.4% and the previous figure of 10.7%, which is more good news for the U.S. economy. Export prices also came in lower than estimates, but the real story here is import prices because the U.S. imports more goods than it exports.
While the major indexes have rallied on positive news this week, the bond market is cooling off, putting pressure on stocks.
And that’s not the only reason I believe we’re due for a pullback…
Stocks were treading water towards the end of last week as the markets digested the inflation relief rally.
But a handful of stocks were making a splash as we sailed into the weekend…
Shares of cruise line company Royal Caribbean have been on fire after news broke that it’s lifting its COVID-19 vaccine requirements for trips in certain ports starting in September.
The stock jumped as much as 16% from Tuesday’s close as institutional buyers lined up to get aboard…
My scanner spotted repeat big-money buying hitting the tape, with one trader sweeping up around 3,500 contracts of the Aug. 19 expiration, $44 strike calls for over $540,000 in premium!
And there’s more top order flow rolling in as we cruised into the weekend…
Volume is the number of shares bought and sold each day in any given financial instrument. High volume suggests there’s heightened interest in a financial instrument. And when combined with a move higher in share price, that’s often a signal of strong upward momentum. Keeping an eye on volume will ensure that you’re on the right side of the trade.
