Traders Buy the Dip Ahead of More Big Bank, Airline Earnings On the heels of Delta and Bank Blowout 2024 kicking off earnings season this week, United Airlines is set to report after the close Tuesday amid another host of big bank stocks… So what are the bulls and bears buying? As far as banks, we saw orders in M&T Bank (MTB), Citizens (CFG) and Charles Schwab (SHW) on the heels of reports Friday morning from JPMorgan (JPM) and Citi (C ). Citi saw a nice pop on the open but immediately sold off, and JPM was down about 3.8% on the open. We saw a mix of both bullish and bearish bank bets heading into next week, so be sure and follow the link and check out the flow. As for United Airlines (UAL)... Bank Stock Blowout 2024 Is HERE Earnings season is upon us again… And I’m actually excited that financial stocks are set to announce over the next 10 days... Especially because earnings is really the only time of the year when the usually boring banks have the ability to make large overnight moves. Plus, this high-rate atmosphere is GREAT for business. That said, there are about nine notable bank stocks set to announce this month… Most are happening over the next two weeks… While I’d never guarantee a future return — no such thing as guarantees in trading — you can tag along and see the stocks I’m interested in. BEST Order Of The Day: NVDA ![]() Thanks to my News Flow Scanner, we found another big mover… ahead of time! That’s the point, right? To get in these calls or puts before they blast off to the moon or fall off a cliff… Well, the only way to do that is with my News Flow Scanner! With NVDA down about 1.8% a share in early trading Friday, the order above hit in the weekly $890 puts. At the time, it was trading for around $6.50 a contract. By 11 o’clock on the East Coast and with NVDA down about 2.5% a share, it was trading for about $9.35 a contract — that’s a 43.8%* move higher for those scoring at home. Something important to keep in mind: As it says at the top, this is the BEST order of the day — one of if not the biggest mover of all orders that came in (by around 1 p.m. ET). There were also gains that were much smaller, and of course some losers mixed in as well, as is the case every day. So what can you do with this information? Check out the News Flow Scanner today — just click that link below! CUSTOMER STORY OF THE DAY: Hey Lance, Just wanted to say, I'm profitable again today.... on another day when the broader markets are down. I'm consistently able to be profitable on those choppy down days. Trading the order flow from the Options Scanner, along with knowledge that i've learned from following your work, has greatly helped my overall P/L this year. Where i have really made improvements is to my day trading. The Master Indicator combined with the Options Scanner has really made a huge difference for me. I just wanted to say thank you for everything. — Brett I’m Also Covering…
