I think those boring old banks are about to have an earnings bonanza — join me at 2 p.m. ET on Tuesday for “Bank Blowout 2024”! With ‘Bank Blowout 2024’ on Deck, the Bulls Are Targeting JPM on Monday Although it feels like earnings season just ended — because it did — the first quarter 2024 season is underway this week, beginning with Delta on Wednesday and followed by the big, boring banks on Friday… And we just so happened to see some small earnings bets trickle in for the biggest bank in the world, JPMorgan (JPM), which reports Friday before the open. For the record, I’m not usually a fan of trading the big banks… I called them “boring” above for a reason — because they hardly move! But I think that’s about to change for this particular quarter… Which is in part what makes today’s orders so intriguing… Believe It or Not, I’m Actually Bullish on Banks! With interest rates still high and the financial industry leading the way in 2024… I believe the banks are poised to have a blowout earnings season this month… Including JPMorgan, Wells Fargo, Citigroup and more. And like always, I'll look for a way to trade those names ahead of earnings. Which is part of the reason I’m writing you this… I wanted to let you know that at 2 p.m. ET on Tuesday, I’m hosting a special event called “Bank Blowout 2024.” It’s an event dedicated to trading the earnings dates for these financial companies. BEST Order Of The Day: TSLA Thanks to my News Flow Scanner, we found another big mover… ahead of time! That’s the point, right? To get in these calls or puts before they blast off to the moon or fall off a cliff… Well, the only way to do that is with my News Flow Scanner! With TSLA up about 3.9% in early trading Monday, the order above hit in the weekly $175 strike calls. At the time, it was trading for around $2.82 a contract. By 11:25 on the East Coast and with TSLA up 5.8% a share, it was trading for about $3.93 a contract — that’s a 36.4%* move higher for those scoring at home. Something important to keep in mind: As it says at the top, this is the BEST order of the day — one of if not the biggest mover of all orders that came in (by around 1 p.m. ET). There were also gains that were much smaller, and of course some losers mixed in as well, as is the case every day. So what can you do with this information? Check out the News Flow Scanner today — just click that link below! CUSTOMER STORY OF THE DAY: Hi Lance Just want to throw you a quick vote of praise. I am new to trading and like the option strategy. Your style/approach and overall experience is giving me some new insight into my every day living . Believe it or not , it has something to do with your patience and calm demeanor in pretty much any situation I have seen so far . IE: losses on the day . I am learning to allocate funds to levels that fit my budget , versus reaching for the moon on one long shot , risking it all and then losing it . Much appreciated. Keep ‘em coming Thx — Pete I’m Also Covering…
