Personally, I keep hearing about it more and more. Pinterest describes itself as a website that, "…lets you organize and share all the beautiful things you find on the web. People use pinboards to plan their weddings, decorate their homes, and organize their favorite recipes. Best of all, you can browse pinboards created by other people. Browsing pinboards is a fun way to discover new things and get inspiration from people who share your interests." The website recently reported impressive statistics including (CNN): • Unique visitors to Pinterest grew 400% from September to December 2011 • Pinterest drives more visitors to third-party websites than Google+, YouTube and LinkedIn combined The website is currently by invite only. I've recently received my invitation and my curiosity has me eager to check it out. I'm also noticing the adoption of Pinterest with non-industry folks much more than I have yet to find with Google+.
