| | MarketWealth Weekender Greetings, folks, and welcome to the MarketWealth Weekender! This new feature will give us a chance to catch up and share some of our best ideas, tips and picks from the past week to help you beat Mr. Market.
So let's get started…
The residential housing market exploded in 2020. If you want proof, just check out what Zillow has done this year.
Spoiler alert: Shares of Zillow Group Inc. (Nasdaq: Z) are up about 90% year to date — amid a global pandemic and subsequent lockdowns. If you got in on Zillow back or March or April, good for you!
If you didn't, there's still a way to get in on the housing boom: consumer credit stocks.
An increase in mortgage and refi applications has helped prop up consumer credit demand even more so than we saw in 2008-09. In the past quarter alone, there's been a 41% increase in credit inquiries — that's BIG!
Here are the companies on my list and a price target for you to aim for if you decide to build a position:
- Equifax Inc. (NYSE: EFX) price target: $220.
- Fair Isaac Co. (NYSE: FICO) price target: $510.
- Experian PLC (OTCMKTS: EXPGY): $46.
The Best ETFs to Buy Right Now
We've seen a lot of volatility the past couple of weeks, and there's room for more downside. Momentum among the three major U.S. indexes is on the decline, and less than half of U.S. stocks are trading above their 200-day moving averages.
So what's a trader to do? Well, one way to ensure your portfolio is diversified is to hold a few ETFs. Here are four of the biggest and strongest ETFs in the world right now:
- G-X Lithium ETF (NYSEARCA: LIT) — I'm big on renewable energy, and this is the ETF to play in that sector. Lithium is used in batteries for cell phones, laptops and electric vehicles, and this fund holds Tesla and Samsung — basically all of the usual suspects. I'd look to buy it around the $37.85 level, and if it falls between the 50-day and 200-day moving averages, dump it.
- Ark Genomic Revolution ETF (BATS: ARKG) — This biotech ETF is trading below its 50-day moving average, so wait to get in when it's above the $58.40 level.
- Direxion Daily CSI China Internet Bull 2X Shares (NYSEARCA: CWEB) — Again, we're below the 50-day moving average, but that's OK. Buy it when it gets up to the $51.40 level, and if it breaks below $45, get out.
- Proshares Online Retail ETF (NYSEARCA: ONLN) — This fund has Amazon, Alibaba, Overstock, Chewy, Wayfair — all of the big names I've been talking about. I'd buy it right around the $62.80 level. And if it breaks below the $59 level, I'm out.
Try These 'Alpha Trades' on for Size
If stock picks are your thing — which of course they are, which is why you're here — there's a group of stocks that no one else is talking about. We've seen gains of 179.17% on Wayfair, 1,246% from Domino's Pizza and 2,422% from Fastly in just 24 hours.
The big news is there are only four different "Alpha Zones," where the vast majority of these 24-hour trades are staged throughout the year. And the next one is happening on Monday.
You need to watch now to get this weekend's trade. This page is coming down next few hours, so this is your last chance to get all of the details…

11 Money-Making Ideas for the Week
My good friend Tom Busby with Early Bird Trades had a great piece discussing 11 companies that can turn your investment now into a small fortune down the road, should things break right, of course.
How?
The sell-off we saw at the end of last week and the end of this week, particularly in the Nasdaq, did investors a few favors by knocking prices down a peg.
Here are Tom's "11 Ways to Make Your Fortune":
- Apple Inc. (Nasdaq: AAPL): Entry — $132.55. Exit — $104.45.
- Amazon Inc. (Nasdaq: AMZN): Entry — $3,455. Exit — $2,884.
- Nvidia Corp. (Nasdaq: NVDA): Entry — $527.55. Exit — $429.44.
- Abbott Laboratories (NYSE: ABT): Entry — $111.11. Exit — $98.29.
- SPDR Gold Trust (NYSEARCA: GLD): Entry — $185.11. Exit — $178.29.
- Freeport-McMoRan INc. (NYSE: FCX): Entry — $16.55. Exit — $13.44.
- Johnson & Johnson (NYSE: JNJ): Entry — $153.55. Exit — $142.44.
- American Express Co. (NYSE: AXP): Entry — $110.55. Exit — $99.44.
- Citigroup Inc. (NYSE: C): Entry — $57.11. Exit — $47.44.
- ProShares UltraPro Dow30 (NYSEARCA: UDOW): Entry — $86.55. Exit — $76.44.
- Proshares UltraPro S&P 500 (NYSEARCA: UPRO): Entry — $63.11. Exit — $55.44.
Now this is important: If you decide to buy options on these stocks, Tom says to go with the October 16 expiration date. Always do your own due diligence, but this list is a great starting point.
