The indices are still trying to digest Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell’s Monday comments signaling more aggressive interest rate hikes to fight “too high” inflation.
There’s some good news, though... The broader indices have had a good run since the Fed started raising rates.
And despite the volatility we’re seeing, the S&P 500 managed to close above its 50-day moving average. We want to see it continue to climb, especially past the $460 level, which is an important point of resistance on its way up.
