The major indices were climbing again Tuesday morning after falling Monday, when Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell said upcoming rate hikes could get even more aggressive than last week’s 0.25% increase.
Powell vowed Monday to take “necessary steps” to fight what he called “too high” inflation, causing the market to sell off and break its five-session win streak.
