My dad gave me some of the best advice I ever received. And I want to share it with you because I think it can transform your trading!
This One Tool Powered My $1.4 Million Trading Windfall
I could never have seen the trading success I’ve seen in my career without Fibonacci trading. If you’ve ever watched me trade, you’ve seen me use Fibonacci. And if you’ve ever wondered how I do it, you can now get every class I’ve taught on the topic for just $47.
He’s one of these guys with a big, booming personality who people gravitate towards.
He and I work together on a small business he started; we’re professional engineers in Knoxville, Tennessee.
And the best advice he ever gave me goes something like this:
“Whatever it is you do, be the best at it.”
Always strive to go above and beyond at whatever you are doing.
Once you let the mindset creep in that “you don’t get paid enough for this” or “nobody cares how good you do,” you set yourself up to be limited in everything you do.
My dad told me the bulk of that. But I’ve also lived long enough to experience it time and time again for myself.
Some of the most beautiful brickwork I have ever seen in my life is underground — a manhole that was hand-laid in brick.
The guy/guys that did that work knew that most people would never see it, but it didn’t stop them from doing an absolutely beautiful job laying that brick.
That’s the kind of work you need to do to be a successful trader.
Trading is 1-5% the big, sexy trades that get people hyped, and 95%+ the hard work that no one ever sees.
But if you’re not doing the hard work the right way, I guarantee you’re never going to see the results you want to on the other end.
The moment you start to think “I’m not making enough through trading,” that’s when you’ll start to either quit or make mistakes.
You have to want to be the best to make this work. Because trading is hard.
Sometimes folks ask me why I work so hard as a trader, why I send a ton of emails and manage a Discord server with hundreds of traders, why I host weekly webinars on Tuesday, etc.
And the answer comes from that same piece of advice pop gave me.
I want to be the best at this. Not really for pride or for money (though those are good things), but because I think that’s what you owe to the world.
It took me years to get where I wanted to be as a trader. I’ll tell you more about that in the next email I send.
But now that I’m here, I’m not going to quit working hard, especially while other folks are relying on me for support.
So I want to encourage you to keep working hard, too!
It may not feel like it now, but I believe it will pay off in the long run. I know it has for me.
