We are all able to overcome our short-term pain in this current market by simply taking a long-term view â are the businesses we invested in fundamentally good companies?
If our answer is yes, then we have nothing to worry about in the long term.
It's also a good reminder that the investment capital we use should be money we won't need in the near future. It should be money that we are comfortable with leaving invested for an extended period of time.
