I’m live at 4 p.m. ET TODAY ahead of the long holiday weekend… and I’ve been crushing MLK Day weekend for a couple of years now! How to Trade the New Bitcoin ETFs   The new Bitcoin ETFs started trading after finally getting SEC approval late Wednesday. I’ve never been a big crypto guy, but I’ll offer my thoughts in today’s short video… Because this offers opportunities for options traders like us.  In fact, ETFs provide a way to trade Bitcoin without being affected by single stock news, making them more stable instruments — and I think some of these could be fantastic in terms of trading. There’s a list of tradable tickers included after the link! Bitcoin rallied over 5% this morning to almost $49K before falling negative, and even more volatility than normal is to be expected.  So implied volatility has been sky high — I recommend turning on the implied volatility setting on your trading platform of choice (which I did in my video).  Price movements may not fully correspond to options price changes due to that high implied volatility and market maker expectations. Like I said, these instruments could be fantastic for trading…  But there’s a BUT here… I’ll explain in today’s video after the link! Biggest Order Of The Day: NFLX   Thanks to my News Flow Scanner, we found another big mover… ahead of time! That’s the point, right? To get in these calls or puts before they blast off to the moon or fall off a cliff… Well, the only way to do that is with my News Flow Scanner! With NFLX up about 1.3% to $486.79 a share during lunchtime, the order above hit in the Jan. 26 expiration, $487.50 calls. At the time, it was trading for around $21.63 a contract — HEFTY!  By 2 p.m. on the East Coast and with NFLX up to nearly $492.50 a share, it was trading for about $25.75 a contract — that’s a 19%* move higher for those scoring at home. That’s not the biggest move higher we’ve seen lately, but I’ll take 20% in just over an hour all day — not to mention, this also captures earnings… so that 20% could be a lot more (or $0, for that matter) after Netflix reports quarterly numbers  So what can you do with this information?
