Power Trends+: Opportunities and Risks to Kick Off 2025 How’s the new year treating you so far? Kidding, of course. I know it’s only been a week. Stocks have been choppy, but the indexes haven’t changed much in the first five trading days of the year. That’s okay. We talked about my outlook for 2025 last week, and I foresee a lot of excellent moneymaking opportunities ahead. We dive right into some of those in our first Power Trends+ video of 2025. Luke Downey and I analyze two stocks your fellow Power Trends readers wrote in about with Quantum Scores in the buy zone right now – an e-commerce company and a resurgent semiconductor company. We also analyzed a third stock in the buy zone that we passed on, and it plummeted more than 40% today! The problem was the divergence between super-high technicals and lower fundamentals that were too low for us. It wasn’t for us because of considerable risk, but we didn’t know that would become so evident the day after we filmed the video. We also analyze three other stocks that have too much going against them right now. One is a huge communications company that pays a juicy dividend – which is nice, but we’ll explain why there is risk to that dividend. And we’ll look at a couple of biopharmaceutical companies that are just too speculative right now for our liking. Click here or on the image below to watch our full analysis now. (You can see one of the companies in the buy zone.) The stocks Luke and I cover in the video are not currently recommended in my investing services – one was previously and is showing life again. Our goal is to help you make smart decisions as we kick off a potentially big year for investors in the right stocks. Enjoy the latest Power Trends+ video. And please keep those requests coming. We’d love to know what artificial intelligence stocks you’d like us to analyze. You can email any requests to jasonqe@tradesmith.com. Talk soon, Jason Bodner Editor, Jason Bodner’s Power Trends
