Prior to the correction, I told anyone who would listen that stocks were ready to sell-off. And now we're down over 10% from recent highs. But perhaps what caught most traders off guard is how fast the move happened. In just the last nine trading sessions, we've had five days where markets fell 3% or more, including today. So I've received dozen of emails asking me "how I knew" a correction was coming. Well, the truth is I didn't. Instead, the charts said there was a high-probability that stocks would pull back. And that's what successful traders do, play the odds. So while the media might be blaming this downturn on the coronavirus outbreak, that's not the full story. Not by a longshot.
