Is this the future of driving?

One exec says "not so fast" even if he's a fan

Hey There,

Hope you're having a great Tuesday!

I found a story that's really interesting that I want to talk about with you.

But before we get there, here's something you should really focus on.

Cryptocurrency Demystified

Crypto is a big and confusing landscape for a lot of traders…

But it's also the fastest-growing investment option anywhere in the world, so you owe it to yourself to learn about it.

And my friend Jeffry Turnmire has recorded a new video to talk about one of the biggest opportunities coming in the crypto space.

You need to see this. Watch it here.
Ok, now, onto another wave of the future, or so we think: electric vehicles.

EVs are a popular investment option, too, and companies like NIO and WKHS  that focus on making these cars have gained new traction in the markets in recent years.

But how soon is the EV revolution actually going to be upon us?

Well, I read a fascinating article interviewing Bill Berman, the CEO of UK's Pendragon, a major automotive retailer…

And he reported on some of the reasons EV hesitancy remains a real challenge for manufacturers and retailers alike.

"First off, it's unknown," he said, citing the fact that the vast majority of consumers still have never driven an electric vehicle (have you?)

He also cited "range anxiety," the fear of how far you can travel with an electric vehicle.

Even though most EVs have a significant range and most drivers don't travel farther than 50 miles in a day, that range anxiety is still a big fear.

And it is only amplified by the fact that most homes and the majority of offices aren't equipped with charging capacity.

Ultimately, though, he thinks a transformation of the way we drive is inevitable — even if it means more autonomous (self-driving) vehicles traveling around.

Can you imagine a self-driving Uber? A ride you can call and not have to make awkward small talk with anyone?

Sounds like heaven!

What are your thoughts on electric vehicles? Do you share any of the concerns he's got?

With government support and increasing demand, the EV revolution is probably inevitable. But maybe it isn't quite as soon as many think.

Interesting to think about.
