The February stock market is already proving to be full of threats waiting to pull investors under… But there are just as many opportunities lurking around the corner.
After a hectic and rough January, the major question all traders are asking themselves is what's going to happen next.
Joy of the Trade’s Jeff Zananiri, New Money Crew’s Lance Ippolito and I have been nailing the major macroeconomic moves of 2022 everytime we sit down for a WealthPress Live Roundtable.
And our newest one is no different — especially since the three of us break down everything we expect to see from all sides of the market in February.
We’re in a bear market right now — until proven otherwise — and Wall Street looks like it's just waiting for the next big catalyst to hit…
Besides the biggest catalysts hitting the market during February, we also discussed how to handle volatility with one simple trading strategy… the worst stocks to go long on this month… an important update on the Chinese market… and how to spot institutional money flows like an expert.
The Nasdaq traded mostly higher on Friday following Amazon’s strong fourth-quarter earnings.
While Amazon narrowly missed on revenue estimates, it crushed earnings, delivering $5.80 per share versus expectations of $3.57.
Amazon’s strong fourth quarter was largely thanks to its cloud business, as well as its investment in electric vehicle manufacturer Rivian Automotive, where it reported almost a $12 billion gain.
Its strength helped pull the Nasdaq up Friday morning, following a drop on Thursday due to Facebook’s dismal report.
We’ve seen a lot of volatility lately due to big tech companies’ earnings reports… But by the end of next week, the markets should start to settle as the effects wear off.
In this stock market recap video, you'll learn why bonds are driving stocks right now… which sector offers the most resilience and lowest risk… how to trade the current market effectively… whether the markets are set to drop or soar… plus I’ll show off a few winners from this week.
I do a ton of sector analysis and use back-tested, proven strategies to beat the market. I use proprietary formulas based on relative strength to track the top 5 strongest stocks… You know, the ones I send you in my new weekly watchlist. But now I want to know which stocks you’d like to see rankings for! All you have to do is reply directly to this email with your tickers!
The most popular tool to measure stock market volatility is the CBOE VIX Volatility Index, also known as the VIX. But what is the VIX and how does it work?
