Stocks I’m targeting right now, and energy market update, critical Fed notes, this week’s earnings, and will we have a pullback or a breakout next? A Big Week Ahead With ADBE, COST, ORCL, FOMC and CPI. Plus, Critical Levels to Watch The market is looking for its next catalyst, and boy oh boy do we have catalysts coming… This week will be filled with important events such as the latest Federal Open Market Committee and Consumer Price Index inflation report… We also have earnings yet to come from Adobe, Costco and Oracle. Meanwhile, the bond market is showing volatility, and there are concerns about potential rate hikes. The FOMC meeting concludes on Wednesday, and while we’re highly unlikely to get another interest rate hike right now, they could give us hints as to what’s next. The bond market is showing volatility, with concerns about potential rate hikes in March. Technology (XLK), interest rate-sensitive stocks, and speculative sectors are moving, while Consumer Staples (XLP) and Health Care (XLV) are showing mixed results. In today’s all-new briefing… I’ll discuss which stocks are ready to continue to lead higher and which ones are lagging behind… if tech will continue to outperform blue chips and for how long… if the Fed will really cut rates in March… if markets could make new highs today or consolidate ahead of the big reports… which stocks are reporting earnings this week and what's the relevance? I have been watching the VIP replay in the members area for a while now since the AU and US daylight savings changes put the live VIP room at 2:30am. Now I get up at 5:30 to watch before end of day and then go to work. You mentioned not trading the P&L and unhealthy emotional influence on trading decisions (fear/greed). I went to paper trading recently for about 2 weeks because I had been questioning some trading decisions and inconsistent results. What I noticed most was the as the anxiety/fear etc. diminished I was motivated by a desire be good at the charts, to be right technically. As I started to get ‘a good score, like a video game’ it was much easier to go back to back to live trading and not be concerned about the money because I was trading on my level of conviction about the what the charts were telling me. It is easier to be disciplined about risk management, i.e. account expose etc. and choose to stay out of some trades. I think a lot of people don’t realize that emotions are habitual and build momentum over time. They become self perceived as personality. They need to be replace with different emotions, different responses to events and build new habits. I like it when you and Matt debate a position. Your personality differences provide difference analysis and risk profiles which is good for people to see. Keep up the good work. I appreciate your sincerity and transparency. I doubt many people appreciate the value of proper mentorship. Kind regards, — Tim Follow along and join the conversation for real-time analysis, trade ideas, market insights and more!
