The FOMC number is the price point in the market at the time of the release of the FOMC Statement. That number for December 13, 2023, was 4699.25.

If we compare the overnight open of 4760.75 to 4699.25, we can gain an understanding of the move since the release of the FOMC statement. The market reacted strongly.

This market has already pushed above the 2022 open at 4771.00. They still have the all-time high for the ES at 4808.25 to climb to and possibly through.
