Apple's a dinosaur. Here's why.

The cash pile is massive. The stock? Still dead money.

Apple's sitting on more cash than some countries.

But for all that firepower… the stock's been a total snoozefest.

Our market pros talked about this on the show yesterday, and said the quiet part out loud:

Buybacks aren't working.

And unless Apple starts innovating again — or finally boosts that tiny dividend — they don't see why anyone would want to own it.

We know that sounds harsh. This is, after all, our beloved Apple.

But the stock's gone nowhere, while Microsoft continues to run laps around it… and pay shareholders more along the way.

Look at the dividend yields:

Apple: 0.49%
Microsoft: 0.62%

Tiny difference — but that 0.12% might as well be a canyon when you consider what you're getting in return.

Microsoft's pushing into AI and building real momentum.

But Apple? Still trying to make iPads exciting again.

Even with that monster buyback program, Apple hasn't given shareholders a real reason to get excited. And at this point, it's starting to feel like pure opportunity cost.

As our pros said, there are just better places to put your money right now.

They’re back at it again today with more hot market insights:
