The markets are still open, but my focus will be elsewhere (which is not something I can say very often).
Because today, as you all know, is Veterans Day.
I have had the fortune to know and work with and love a lot of veterans. I myself spent some years in the Air Force ROTC.
I have veterans in my family. I have a ton of veterans in my friend group. Some of my earliest trading students were veterans.
It goes without saying: veterans are really important to me.
And I am so thankful for their service.
Last year, my son Jacob, who just became an Eagle Scout, went out and made sure that every fallen veteran had a U.S. Flag.
I’ve done some other cool stuff in the past, too:
We had the whole elementary school out there that year.
We honored the teachers that were also veterans.
Doesn't hardly look like 800 kids, but it is!
This year, we’ll be out at it again, as Jax (my youngest) is going to be marching in the Veterans Day Parade here in Knoxville.
I’m proud that my family takes this important day just as seriously as I do.
We are so thankful for everyone out there who served, and we will never forget your sacrifice.
Hope you do something nice for a vet today,
