The omicron variant — and the Federal Reserve's response this past week — has wreaked havoc on the markets. And if it causes lockdowns around the world like we saw in 2020, that will of course be bearish.
If not and it's more like what we've seen with the delta variant, then this will just be another temporary pullback within a longer-term uptrend — which is bullish.
