Retail stocks came out hot at Tuesday’s opening bell, jumping 1.3% within the first hour of trading. But while the sector lost steam in the low-volume holiday market, American Eagle continued to soar! The morning’s massive institutional order flow earned a midday shout out from the cable TV talking heads.
In turn, bullish traders poured back into the stock for an afternoon rally, spiking shares as high as 3.2% on the day!
