We already knew that Tyson has been raising prices for months, trying to keep up with demand and inflation.
But now, the supply chain for all chicken tenders is starting to crack...
As the headline correctly says, this is a big problem for young families (and a particular “picky eater” CEO I know. Hope he reads this! Haha)
The price of chicken tenders has increased almost a dollar per pound over the last year.
And some parents are worried.
What kinds of things have you noticed the price going up on?
Are you seeing emptier shelves? Have you been caught off-guard by items you found out are unavailable?
These shortages are affecting everyone, and relief isn’t on the immediate horizon.
Time to get creative, I guess.
In the Industrial Revolution in London, eel pie became hugely popular because they were one of the few things that could survive in the highly-polluted Thames.
Maybe eel tenders will be on the menu soon.
I’ll try anything… once…
Hope you’ve got some tendies in stock,
