Bank Failures and Rate Hikes — What the Future Holds
The week started off with a lot of volatility due to recent bank failures. We also have rumors that Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell could hit the pause button on future interest rate hikes due to the resulting fear and uncertainty. But I seriously doubt Powell is going to be less aggressive on future rate increases…
Powell's No. 1 goal is to get inflation under control. And bank failures have nothing to do with inflation. It doesn't matter if a few more banks fail… he's going to keep raising rates until he sees results. So expect more volatility, at least in the short term. All this volatility is going to keep options prices high, and I plan to keep taking advantage by collecting premium. I recently sat down with Roger Scott to share why this is my favorite strategy right now, and I revealed exactly how it works. Watch Our Session Here. Trade Well,
