Chips Are on Fire Again Ahead of AI Convention, and a Couple of Earnings Bets   Don’t you just love it when a plan — or more of a lesson in this instance — comes together?  We discussed risk versus reward in Thursday’s edition of this newsletter, and highlighted what I considered to be a good risk-reward setup in Rivian (RVN).  Today, those Rivian calls we covered blasted off 50% on the open 😎 If you want to revisit why I felt it was a good setup, check out Thursday’s newsletter! As for what’s on tap this fine Friday…  Chip stocks are moving again, that’s for sure. And our old friend Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) saw a ton of action.  That’s likely because of Nvidia’s big AI conference next week, so I added an AMD call to the list below. Just recognize it’s a weekly expiration and can easily go to $0 — so respect that risk! Even though earnings season is mostly done for this quarter, we still have some interesting companies left to report next week like Micron (MU) after the close Wednesday.    Can MU Get Chips Really MOVING Again? Overnight Movers? LOVE THEM  Did you catch our BIG win in Oracle (ORCL) this week?  I saw over $1.1M worth of calls piling in ahead of earnings Monday thanks to my “Overnight Options” scanner…  So I jumped in! BEST Order Of The Day: COIN   Thanks to my News Flow Scanner, we found another big mover… ahead of time! That’s the point, right? To get in these calls or puts before they blast off to the moon or fall off a cliff… Well, the only way to do that is with my News Flow Scanner! With COIN down about 1.7% to just under $230 a share in early trading Friday, the order above hit in the $230 calls for next week. At the time, it was trading for around $11.38 a contract.  By 11 a.m. on the East Coast and with COIN then up over $242.75 a share, it was trading for about $19.63 a contract — that’s a 72.5%* move higher for those scoring at home. Something important to keep in mind: As it says at the top, this is the BEST order of the day — one of if not the biggest mover of all orders that came in (by around 1 p.m. ET). There were also gains that were much smaller, and of course some losers mixed in as well, as is the case every day.  So what can you do with this information?
