Why This Trade Could Be a Good Risk-Versus-Reward Setup   The week is winding to a close along with the best earnings action, but that hasn’t slowed the unusual options activity from peppering the News Flow Scanner.  And one order in particular piqued my interest today because of something we talk about a lot around here: risk management and respecting the risk of each trade. This is crucial so we don’t blow up our trading accounts with a couple of bad trades — which happen to EVERYONE at some point.  So let’s discuss bottom fishing today…  Rivian (RIVN) was having a big week. In fact, from March 7 to Monday, it was up about 20% on news of its new R2 SUV, which starts around $45K.  But it’s been downhill since… setting up a strong candidate for a good risk versus reward trade setup…   These Stocks Hit My News Flow Scanner There’s Nothing I Love More Than a MASSIVE Overnight Mover  Did you catch our BIG win in Oracle (ORCL) this week?  I saw over $1.1M worth of calls piling in ahead of earnings Monday thanks to my “Overnight Options” scanner…  So I jumped in! BEST Order Of The Day: SOUN   Thanks to my News Flow Scanner, we found another big mover… ahead of time! That’s the point, right? To get in these calls or puts before they blast off to the moon or fall off a cliff… Well, the only way to do that is with my News Flow Scanner! I absolutely LOVE orders like today’s… This baby is CHEAP, and a BIG mover! With SOUN up/down about 1.3% to around $8.50 a share in early trading Thursday, the order above hit in the March monthly expiration, $8 puts. At the time, it was trading for around $0.35 a contract.  By 12:10 on the East Coast and with SOUND now down 10.3% over around $7.75 a share, it was trading for about $0.68 a contract — that’s a 94%* move higher for those scoring at home. Something important to keep in mind: As it says at the top, this is the BEST order of the day — one of if not the biggest mover of all orders that came in (by around 1 p.m. ET). There were also gains that were much smaller, and of course some losers mixed in as well, as is the case every day.  So what can you do with this information?
