That generally leads to trading action like this… If you see price action like this, that means no soup for day trading because it’s a low-probability environment… It’s like surfing with no waves — you’re not going anywhere fast.  And meanwhile, if you’re in short-dated options, you’re losing money because of time decay.  I was feeling pretty bullish after Monday’s move on the heels of a big up day Friday, and we did take out the high right around 11 a.m. ET, but I’m afraid it could be a bull trap.  I’ll be watching closely the rest of the day to see what develops.
