A Non-Traditional Path
Now, before we sign off, I should tell you a little bit more about myself and maybe (if you choose to) why you might want to listen to me.
I don’t have the traditional path…
I wasn’t educated on Wall Street… I don’t have a fancy diploma. In fact, I dropped out of college when I realized the career path I was on didn’t have the upside I wanted.
That was 15 years ago and since then, I’ve had the privilege of being full time in the trading industry. Most of that time was behind the scenes working with some of the best traders out there. I have had the very unique situation of seeing what really works because of what I do for a living here.
I am talking about seeing the inside of hundreds of trading systems, how they work, what the customers really say, etc.
And, wow, it’s been an education. And I’ve parlayed that into building my own strategies over the years.  (I didn’t go to Penn State, but I do live and breathe PSU football — by the way, that’s our editor Stephen on the right! Still can’t believe I got him to take this photo!)
Now, after over a decade of absorbing that wisdom, all those strategies, and building my own systems and approaches, I’ve stepped out from behind the scenes and am sharing my own insights directly with you.
And it’s all for a very simple reason…
Family Over Everything
Everything I do, I do for my family.
My wife Allie and I live near Pittsburgh Pennsylvania with our seven adorable kids…
(Yep, I said seven, you can count them)
So yea, my life can get pretty crazy: managing a company, aggressively trading, Opening Playbook every day, then bouncing to baseball practice, church, school meetings… It's a lot.
But I wouldn’t trade it for anything (pun intended).
I am sure, like me, you’re not just trading because you like clicking buttons. You probably have a bigger purpose attached to it.
Whether you are checking out a stock on the NMC scan, or attending the Opening Playbook, or joining one of my services. It’s very likely part of a bigger picture just like it is for me.
So I take this stuff very seriously.
The American Dream is now harder to achieve in the current moment than it has been in the last several decades (I won’t get on a soapbox of why that is in this email), but I believe the stock market provides a unique place where the potential is as high as ever.
I’ve been incredibly blessed to be able to tap into some of that potential… and I want to help you do the same.
