I do things a little differently around here compared to the stuffier folks in this business. I’m a laid-back guy… Aside from being a world-class trader, I’m a farmer and fisherman at heart.
I have a small farm in Florida with chickens, pigs, cows and my cats. I even have a sandhill crane that lays eggs on the dock out back.
I have lots of passions in life (like fishing and good cigars) and trading the stock market ranks at the top of the list. I’ve been doing it professionally for 10+ years. But I’m not your average Wall Street type…
I don’t wear fancy suits — I buy a lot of my clothes from Costco — and I don’t talk like most other so-called trading “gurus.”
I don’t trade like them, either…
That’s because unlike most of them, I’m an actual trader. I’m in the markets every single day because trading is my passion… that and fishing, of course.

The cream of the crop goes into my official trade alerts across my different strategies, and you’ll get at least three a day right in your inbox, just for being a reader.
Here’s an example of what the order flow looks like…  Who’s buying these orders? Whales, hedge funds and institutional traders.
And each day, the team combs through the order flow to find a few juicy plays to share with readers, along with discussion about expected market maker moves and why the orders could be worth considering — trade at your own risk, of course.
They could be earnings plays, stocks moving on a headline or news that hasn’t broken yet — hence the name “News Flow Scanner” — and/or plain old unusual or outsized orders.
If a stock you rarely, if ever, see hits the scanner, it gets my attention.
If a massive amount of money hits a ticker that doesn’t usually see orders like that, once again, it grabs my attention.
Earnings season is damn near year-round these days, and I love a good dice roll — although I know rolling the dice comes with risk!
