Tesla (NASDAQ: TSLA) has had a massive run this month. The stock is up 25% – and Piper Sandler thinks it can jump more. Analyst Alex Potter boosted his TSLA price target from $400 to $500. He says Tesla remains the firm’s “top idea for investing in autonomous vehicles and robotics.” Here’s how he defended the stock’s lofty valuation: “We think TSLA's multiple is so high because the company is using AI to disrupt markets that are almost unimaginably large.
