Good evening: The markets are bouncing around like a ping pong ball… markets continue to chop, while selling pressure keeps building up on the Russell 2000. We’ve had one of the worst momentum days I’ve seen from the Russell 2000 in a while… The number of stocks in breakdown mode ran at a 2 to 1 level on breakouts over the last week. We keep getting pulled back into bull traps… which signals something significant might be arriving soon… The last time we had these conditions was February 21, 2025. That week, we saw some similar behavior, before the market started to break down aggressively into oversold conditions on March 12… followed by a short squeeze (which we called) and a major dump pattern… Well… as I explained… the point of my letter hasn’t changed.
