Managing Editor's Note: Our colleague Jeff Brown spent decades in Silicon Valley, where he helped engineer deals for some of tech's biggest breakthroughs. He's helped everyday investors get in early on Tesla, AMD, and more... and now he shares why he believes Texas is becoming the new Silicon Valley — and how he says a "Texas Royalty Plan" could benefit investors. Dear Reader, Silicon Valley used to be a California institution. The heart of all advanced technology. And Elon Musk was the poster boy. He took his first company, PayPal, public from a San Jose address. He built Tesla’s headquarters in Palo Alto. And he even housed SpaceX there at its start. When he bought Twitter and turned it into X, the company was headquartered in downtown San Francisco. But Musk soured on California during COVID. He got tired of the strangling regulations and exorbitantly high taxes. He left Silicon Valley behind. And headed for Texas… Taking over $1.4 trillion in value with him… On top of that, Elon started a trend… Now, what was once a trickle of companies fleeing Silicon Valley for Texas has turned into a flood. Over 170 companies have moved operations to Texas in the last five years. More than half of them come from California. Apple has long been a Silicon Valley stalwart. And even they moved... Their second-largest campus is now in Austin. Amazon picked Houston as a prime operations hub. Nvidia is building factories in Dallas and Houston. Meta and Samsung are expanding into Texas. The Lone Star State really is the new Silicon Valley. And now, because of a change in the law, Texas is angling to become the AI data center capital of the world. It’s all because of their vast wealth in oil and gas. There’s a way you could collect regular payments as a result of this Texas AI boom… It’s called the Texas Royalty Plan. It’s a little-known way to invest directly in the companies critical to Texas’s energy supply. To collect potentially thousands every year. In fact, the Texas Royalty Plan I’ll tell you about has increased payments for 28 years. Click here to learn more. Regards, Jeff Brown Founder & CEO, Brownstone Research |
