Grab Your Handbag? (TRP)

As we’ve mentioned, several stocks have been surging toward new highs.

They’ve shaken off the bearish start to the new year and are charging upwards.

One of those stocks is Tapestry, a maker of handbags and accessories for men and women.

Here’s the chart:

The start of the new year showed a slight pause in TPR’s ascent, but it has rebounded very strongly.

Plus it’s in one of the top 20 hottest sectors in the world right now.

Plus it’s nearing an all-time high.

If it breaks through $47.05, it could make a big move.

We’ll keep an eye on it.

Happy trading,

— Scott Welsh

GUEST POST: JACK CARTER
Betting On The Obvious

A few weeks ago, I got an alert on my terminal.

It said something that seemed to make no sense.

But I’ve learned to trust this thing. It’s designed to spot huge inflows of cash going into a stock in real-time.

So as soon as some fund manager or big bank guy pushes the button to place a massive order, my system flashes an alert.

Now, here’s the thing… I said this made no sense.

And here’s why… The alert was for APO.

And when the alert came through, the stock had hardly budged in a month.

But like I said, I’ve learned to trust this thing.

Because when Wall Street whales start piling into a stock… I’ve learned to respect that.

Under the right circumstances, stocks can really move.

And that’s exactly what happened with APO.

Literally the very day my terminal had flashed its alert…

The stock that had gone essentially sideways for a month suddenly started rising.

And rise it did.

Over the next 4 days, the stock moved $4!

Think about that.

A stock that essentially moved sideways for more than 4 weeks suddenly started rising.

And it was all because of the “Wall Street Whale” effect.

When those guys start throwing cash at a stock, it can move mountains…

Trade well,

— Jack Carter
