Recent trading action has been listless at best in a market with no rhythm.
That tells me it’s looking for a direction, and everything is fragmented, rotating between blue chips and tech stocks — back and forth.
The way the major sectors are performing is totally out of whack…
Semiconductors are leading at the top but the Nasdaq 100 (QQQ) is way down the list, along with energy stocks.
It makes absolutely no sense, and everything is fragmented!
Whenever you see a market like this, you can tell it’s not trading on its own volition. It’s functionally burned out, and that’s why it’s mostly just going sideways right now.
In order to find a directional bias, we need a catalyst…
