The Roberto Clemente Clinic was established in 2004 in Tola, Nicaragua to honor the baseball legend who died delivering aid to the country. It provides vital healthcare to impoverished coastal communities with support from The Oxford Club.

Thanks to the generous donations of our supporters, the clinic has been able to provide excellent support, and right now the organization is just $35,000 shy of their annual fundraising goal for 2026.

Dear Friends of the Roberto Clemente Health Clinic,

We're in the final stretch of the giving season, and I'm reaching out with an urgent request.

The Roberto Clemente Health Clinic is just $35,000 short of our annual fundraising goal—representing 7% of what we need to fully operate in 2026.

Seems like so little, right? After all, this is to operate a 24/7 primary and emergency health care facility, with a 27-person team, including medics and pharmacists and ambulance drivers.

How's this possible? Of course, one reason is we're located in Nicaragua, where labor costs are significantly lower. But also—we have one of the most dedicated, most resourceful and efficient non-profits teams you can know.
