Don here... Manufacturing PMI…ISM data...Business inventories...Inflation pricing… All four hit this morning. The S&P 500 ignored every single one. Blake Young traded five setups across four markets anyway. Two winners, one controlled loss, and a framework ready for the afternoon. This session is worth watching specifically because the tape was dead. You will see how to adapt when the market gives you nothing obvious. The crazy part is Blake had it all mapped out the night before. And tomorrow, he's pulling back the curtain behind his trading methodology at 1PM EST. It's pretty impressive once you see how it all works. Join him tomorrow at 1PM EST and see how Blake creates a mathematical edge
In today's free session replay, you'll discover: - How Blake shorted the euro at channel resistance and walked away with a profit on a tape that whipped in both directions. He identified the slope the euro had been riding overnight using reverse anchoring. When it stalled, he took the short. When the profit appeared, he grabbed it.
- The Russell trade that was still running when the session ended. Blake caught a breakout at 2538 targeting 2555 and tightened the stop three separate times as the trade worked. You will see exactly when he moved each level and what triggered the decision.
- Why Blake went long one index and short another at the same time. He shorted the S&P 500 and went long the Russell in the same 15-minute window. The S&P short lost $100. The Russell covered it and kept climbing.
- The crude oil setup that looked clean and got wiped by a sudden news drop. Two bullish divergences at a key support level. Blake took the long at 98.92. Crude dropped 75 cents in seconds. The stop was already set. He took the defined loss and kept trading.
Blake said one thing today that cuts through everything else. "The market doesn't care where I got in. The market cares about what it's doing in the tape." Every stop he adjusted was based on the chart. A dead tape does not mean a wasted morning if you know where to look. → Watch Blake trade five setups across four markets on the flattest tape of the year and still walk away with winners To your success, Don Kaufman Chief Market Strategist, TheoTRADE
