Here are four stocks to watch as a result
Hello from across the Pond, Guy Cohen here. Let's take a look at a few things entering the week. On Thursday, we saw significant volatility with the SPY gapping down to the 350 level, followed by a huge rally. Yes, Thursday's big rally was great. But Friday's big sell-off was nearly as impressive -- and it looks like we are likely to see new lows in due course regardless of what happens at earnings. Our medium-term outlook is increased volatility as we navigate earnings season. With the amount of uncertainty right now, we think it makes sense to be extra cautious with your trade plan. With that in mind, here's a look at our weekly watchlist:
All four picks are bearish for us this week, a sign that the market selloff will likely continue. Remember: we are in the midst of earnings season now. So you'll want to pay very careful attention to what companies are about to report and plan your trading accordingly. Happy Monday. Best of luck this week.
Cheers,
Guy Cohen P.S.: Jack Carter has set up a fantastic little strategy to trade the markets in two directions at once and take advantage of all this volatility we're seeing. Learn all about it here.
