my best advice to new traders

Hey there, Nate here!

I’ll keep this short and sweet. Lately, I’ve been talking about two big ideas:

1. The “overnight” phenomenon that explains how and when the stock market actually move on a consistent basis
2. The power of “twisting” short-dated options rather than buying them outright

And, for me, the combination of those two elements is arguably my biggest breakthrough.

It’s why we’ve had some incredible runs on the Overnight Options strategy in 2025 like this:

Now, obviously I cannot guarantee every streak is that good. It won’t be!

But those are real time issued trades… This isn’t a theory about how the market works.

And it’s because of the same lessons we keep talking about:
Short dated options have a lot of challenges
Most people lose money by buying them
The time decay can be flipped in our favor
The market can go up, down, sideways and still give us a win
The overnight phenomenon powers this concept
Etc

At the end of the day, my advice for traders and investors is this:

Don’t put yourself in a position where you need to repeatedly nail a perfect trade. That’s just too hard.

Having to predict what stock is gonna go up, how much it’s gonna go up, and when it’s gonna go up… I don’t think any of us are good enough to do that over and over again.

That’s why I hold stocks in more of a portfolio basis and then actively trade using edges rather than trying to make a new prediction every day.

If you’re interested in ignoring all the noise and not having to be the best stock picker in the world to still target consistent gains…

Well, then let me give you one final reminder to check out Overnight Options!

Talk soon,

Nate
